Welcome to AGL
Advancing Georgia's Leaders in Agriculture and Forestry (AGL) is a joint program offered by the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources that develops high-potential, high-performing individuals within agriculture, forestry, natural resources, and allied sectors to become dynamic professionals.
What is AGL?
The aim of AGL is to educate, empower, and connect individuals throughout Georgia by engaging participants in skills-focused leadership development. Participants build professional capital while enhancing their leadership skills and deepening their understanding of political and agricultural systems along with emerging industry issues and trends. Curriculum and programmatic outlines for the upcoming class include a strong network of personal and professional development experiences along with an international component.
How Can I Participate?
To apply for the 2015 Class, you must be nominated by someone in agriculture, forestry, or supporting industries. Nominations open March 1 - April 15, 2015. After nominations are received and reviewed, applications will be sent to qualifying nominees.
