Welcome to AGL

We aim to educate, empower and connect individuals throughout Georgia to ensure a better understanding of our political, social and economic systems.

Information about the second session will be coming soon.

What is AGL?

Advancing Georgia's Leaders in Agriculture and Forestry develops individuals within agriculture and natural resources to become more effective spokespeople for their industries, establish strong allegiances across the state and nation and further develop their leadership skills.

Participants are selected through nominations, applications and interviews. A class will have up to 30 individuals diverse in age, gender, ethnicity, geographic location, professional background and level of experience.

These participants will be engaged in approximately 52 days of leadership development including national and international experiences. The class is spread out over a two-year period.

How Can I Help?

In order to meet the need of Georgia's food and fiber industry, we need your help. Only through support from businesses, organizations and individuals can this program be possible. Tuition per participant is $3,750. This only covers one-third of the approximately $11,000 in direct costs per participant.

Your tax deductible gift or sponsorship will be an investment in Georgia's future agricultural and natural resources industries.
